This Thunderbird is a genuine D-Code car that was built during its restoration as an E-Code tribute, giving it the look and character of the highly desirable E-Code cars while retaining its original D-Code identity. It is being represented accurately as an E-Code tribute, not a factory E-Code.

What truly sets this Thunderbird apart is the documentation and history that accompanies it. We have records from the restoration, recent maintenance records, and invoices documenting parts and work purchased over the years. Mostly recently, in 2021-2024 the vehicle was basically gone over again, records of the parts and labour to show this included. The original Ford shop manual is also included.

312 V8 2 x 4 Barrels , Automatic transmission, E-Code tribute configuration, Power steering, Power brakes, Power windows, Power seat, Working radio, Removable hardtop, Hardtop cart, Originally outfitted with a black and white interior, restorer opted for a bold all-red interior, and recently appraised at $95,000.

The car has been meticulously restored to factory specifications by one of Ontario’s foremost Baby Bird enthusiasts from the Southern Ontario Thunderbird Club (SOTC) and is also recognized by Classic Thunderbird International (CTCI).
